Hi, I’m Chris Vella — the founder of Tiny Home Installations.
My family and I have been living off-grid for over eight years, and I’ve spent most of my life in rural Australia. Today, we live in a cabin nestled in the bush, where we’ve carefully set up our property to run simply and sustainably — with spring-fed water, solar power, and the kind of practical systems that make off-grid living not only possible, but deeply rewarding.
Living in nature isn’t just about space or scenery. For us, it’s about learning to live with the land — not against it. It’s about slowing down, working with the seasons, and understanding that real comfort comes from self-sufficiency, not excess. It’s taught us patience, respect, and the value of doing things properly the first time.
That way of thinking flows directly into the work we do for our clients. When we transport or install a tiny home, we’re not just ticking boxes — we’re setting someone up for a lifestyle we truly believe in. We understand how important it is to get things right — from water and waste to access, layout, and long-term usability — because we live with those systems ourselves every day.
Tiny Home Installations isn’t just a business. It’s a natural extension of how we live — and we’re here to share that experience, that knowledge, and that care with others who are ready to take a step toward a simpler, more connected way of life.
